Charoite is an unusual mineral that is found at only one location in Russia. It is a lavender or lilac color and has the appearance of purplish marble. It looks best in rather larges pieces that show off the distinctive coloration. Large pieces are relatively inexpensive and the bulk of the value in a charoite item will be in the mounting

Treatments
Usually untreated.

 


Care Instructions :

Charoite is a soft material and can be easily scratched by simple dirt and dust. Care should be taken when cleaning to avoid scratching the surface and they should not be worn in circumstances where the stone will come in contact with other items.
